Merry Christmas and a Happy 4 Months to Anderson!

Anderson Stats:

Weight: 16 pounds

Height: 25 1/2 inches

Eye Color: Very Blue

Hair Color: Brown with a little blond

Eating and Sleeping: Last feeding is around 9:30 and he wakes at 7:30. This makes me VERY happy.

New Tricks: He can roll over both ways, and hold onto most of his toys...just learning to have fun in his exersaucer.  Giggles when you tickle him.

Fun Times:  Took his first flight and slept through it all.

This little boy continues to steal my heart.  Waking him up in the morning and from his naps is the sweetest thing I do all day long.  His smile and giggles remind me that maybe I shouldn't take life so seriously all the time and just laugh a little.

 

 

Christmas at our home came a little early.  Santa dropped the kids gifts off and we even got a little snow! This was the first year Presley really understood the idea of gifts.

We had the joy of going home for a full three weeks!  Adam had time to go hunting with his dad for a few days while I spent that time at my sisters.   We even made time to swing by San Antonio to visit our wonderful friends. That was loooong over due.  Presley and Anderson did way better then I envisioned for this trip.  The bouncing around from different beds and houses became natural for the both of them after the first few days.  Anderson smiled as if life was meant to be that way, and Presley absolutely loved having all the company from her cousins, and grandparents. 

Instead of writing my long novel of what took place over xmas, I decided to just put a bunch of pictures.

 We have no clue what Big was thinking while looking at Anderson.  He was for sure in deep thought as Anderson was in a deep sleep on the floor. Love these sweet moments that we capture:)

Came home to a box full of gifts she got to open from her Granny and Paw Paw.  The crown was put on as fast as she opened it.

3 Months

Anderson is now three months old.  For the most part, life is rolling along in the Brown home.  I think we finally feel like things are somewhat under control with two kids.  This past month we had family come and visit!  Big and Neenie came into town ,and spoiled all of us like always.
Anderson is becoming more alive every day.  He smiles at every thing and everyone. He could be in the middle of a fit, and if you make faces at him he will forget the fit to laugh and smile.  This little boy totally has my heart.  I'm pretty sure we haven't done anything in life to deserve such a handsome little blessing, but we sure are grateful for him.  We are looking forward to is first flight home to TX! We've completely lost count on how many flights Presley has been on.  Enough to get American Airline credit card applications...she gets at least one a month ha.

New Tricks: He loves to hit a frog that dangles from a baby toy.  He will hit that thing all day long.  He will do tummy time, but hates every minute of it.

Funny things Presley now says:

Caca doo doo...there's a house with fake roosters out front and this is what she says when she sees them.  Don't ask about why they have fake roosters...its beyond me!

Shiver me timbers...eating dinner one night and this popped out of her mouth.

Maverick playing ballerina...when she sees maverick pee (lifting his leg) she thinks he's pretending to be a ballerina.

I not step on doo doo....she is convinced that all the fallen leaves off the trees in the yard are Mav's poop. (life of a kid growing up with a dog)

Adam's pride and joy saying....I took a giant man poo poo...yes he taught this to her poor girl.  She thinks it normal to say this. Ugh the things I have to reteach to this poor child!
She has a friend named is Avery Grace Jenkins....when she is playing by herself you will here her say is that good Avery Grace? You like my food?
